Rick Fines – New Songs!

Friday October 4, 2019 - 8:00 PM

Peterborough’s Market Hall

 140 Charlotte St

Peterborough was the test marketing center of Canada. Rick's mother was supervisor for 11 market research firms. Often the hallway in the Fines' home was full of laundry detergent samples, or Ontario Hydro omnibus surveys, even cases of beer, branded “X” and “Y.” Rick made money throughout high school going door to door conducting surveys. Well now he’s trying it again. He wants Peterborough to tell him how they get their music. Is it through streaming, downloading, CDs, LPs? He’s going to ask the audience at the Market Hall, where he will debut his new songs. Then he’ll release the album in appropriate formats on December 1st.  Rick will also ask his audience if they would be interested in subscribing to a Song-A-Month Club and receive a song from him in their inbox.

You can help. Please fill in the survey above titled, "Surviving the Streaming Age." Thanks

Hi Rick, what a fabulous show that was last night. It is always great to see Lise, Claire and you. We all really enjoyed the new songs as well as your hits. Market Hall is probably my favourite venue for live music, it is just such a warm atmosphere and has such terrific sound. I am still trying to see if I can arrange something at my curling club sometime this season, but it is tough getting anything through the board of directors. I will keep at it and see if I can enlist enough support to make it happen. Here's hoping! Take care and I hope to see you again soon. Keep up the good work.
