The Versatile Guitarist - a workshop

 —  —

Slab Productions, 618 Rubidge Street , Peterborough, ON K9H4G1

9AM - 3PM, Sat and Sun Rick Fines has designed a two day class that offers what he considers to be essential knowledge for 'The Versatile Guitarist'.

There is a popular notion that there are ‘lead guitarists’ and ‘rhythm guitarists’; a 'Versatile Guitarist' supports the song both rhythmically and melodically.

The class is intended for the guitarist who has ventured beyond first position chords and has some finger style playing knowledge.

An intermediate class, it is not intended for the beginner guitarist who is just learning chords and gaining familiarity with the instrument or the advanced guitarist, who best benefits from individual instruction.

The class utilizes ‘the blues’ as a foundation for playing all styles of popular music. The class goal is to provide the foundation for you to become more 'Versatile Guitarists'.

Some songs will be used as learning tools, but Rick will primarily focus on ‘vocabulary’ that can enhance any song.

This class will be limited to six guitarists
