Rick's Licks guitar workshop

 —  —

Bluesfest School of Music and Art, 450 CHURCHILL AVE. N, OTTAWA, ON K1Z 5E2

During this workshop, you will find ways to compliment a song as a second – or even third – guitarist. A second guitar playing the same as the first does not add much depth to a song. Give those other guitars a chance to shine and add some interest to your song. Come explore chord inversions, riffs and rhythmic ideas that lift a song up while still supporting the vocal. Learn techniques that are useful in various kinds of music. This will be a fun afternoon for all. Please bring examples of songs you play that could use a stronger second guitar part. All ages are welcome and current BSOMA students are strongly encouraged to attend!

$30/ $15 BSOMA members
